Samaritans

£0.00

Samaritans was founded in 1953 and are accessible day or night for people struggling to cope or are having suicidal thoughts. Their 20,000 trained listening volunteers will listen without judgement or pressure. They work in a range of areas including prisons, schools, hospitals, on the rail network and in the military. There are multiple ways to contact Samaritans including: the free telephone helpline, via written letter, via email or visit a centre to talk face-to-face. They have also developed a support app, to help you track your feelings, get recommendations for things you can do to help yourself cope and feel better and ways to stay safe in a crisis.
