Housing & homes
We are nationally respected specialists in housing for sensory differences
We have worked nationally to improve understanding of sensory needs and supported teams to implement changes big and small.
Housing
We are experts in neurodivergent friendly housing and designing for sensory differences.
We can work with architects, housebuilders, local government authorities and other organisations to ensure that neurodivergent-friendly design principles are embedded in new housing from the beginning.
Homes
We can assess individual home environments to recommend adjustments for sensory differences.
We have wide experience in assessing the living environments of neurodivergent individuals, engaging with their bespoke needs and working collaboratively with their families, carers and others to ensure our recommendations can deliver meaningful improvement.

We want to create positive change in society, not just in hospitals.

Sensory needs report
Members of our team led the development of two key reports, working with NDTi.
We were inspired to develop this report to encourage consideration and adjustment to meet sensory need in housing after realising that many of the people we met in hospital were there because of a breakdown in care and support, and not because of mental health challenges.
Lighting
Lighting design for sensory differences has become an area of specialist knowledge.
We have worked with colleagues at Buro Happold to better understand the impact of lighting design on people with photosensitivity.
