This study surveyed 296 Autistic adults to examine how auditory environments impact quality of life (iQoL) in relation to Autistic traits. Findings showed that aversive auditory environments significantly mediated the negative effects of Autistic traits on iQoL, particularly for non-verbal social communication. Most participants used tools like earplugs and headphones to manage sound, highlighting the need for better accommodations to improve daily life for Autistic individuals.
