£0.00

Realpe and Wallace (2010)

Co-production has a long history since its creation in the 1970s civil rights movement. This well researched article details the history of co-production. The article draws particular attention to the use of co-production in social care and mental health settings. Through placing people with lived experience as experts of their own circumstances and professionals as facilitators, this article explores the transformative nature of co-production. The article also draws on lived experience skill sets, noting that research has often focused on professional skills over that of people with lived experience.
