The programme supports fundamental changes within Mental Health wards to promote an empathetic and supportive environment with a focus on trauma, Autism and Race informed care. The article promotes the aims and hopes for the programme from a number of key stakeholders including Neurodiverse Connection’s Director Jill Corbyn. The article and the wider project stress the need for Autism informed care and the potential benefit for Autistic people within the Mental Health system.
