“A perfect storm”: Autistic experiences of menopause and midlife

This study explored how autistic people experience menopause and what support they need. Participants shared that menopause brought intense and complex challenges, made harder by past life experiences and limited access to support. The findings highlight the need for better information, connection, and care for autistic people going through menopause.
